Our Mission
Small acts, served daily, become a movement of mercy.
MG Foundation was founded on a simple belief: that food, water, and kindness are rights — not privileges. Under the guidance of our Founder Manikandan R and Trustee Balaji R, our team hits the streets of Chennai every single day with warm meals, cold water bottles, and warmer smiles.
We serve without asking a name, without checking a caste, without judging a circumstance. If someone is hungry, we feed. If an animal is thirsty, we pour. If a family needs a hand, we hold it.

Feeding the Homeless
Hot cooked meals distributed daily on the streets of Chennai to those who have nowhere else to turn.
Water & Essentials
Clean drinking water, hygiene kits, and blankets — small comforts that carry immense dignity.
Feeding Street Animals
Every stray dog, cat, and bird is family. We prepare and serve food for our voiceless friends too.
Medical & Welfare Aid
Free medical camps, health awareness, and assistance for treatment of the poor and needy.
A Story from the Street
Every bottle of water is a promise.
Under Chennai's blistering sun, a bottle of cold water is more than a drink — it is proof that someone saw you. That someone stopped. That someone cared. Our volunteers carry hundreds of them each week, refilling the tanks of hope in humanity, one thirsty soul at a time.

Every plate of rice we cook has extra scoops set aside — for the street dogs at the corner, the temple cats, and the crows that gather at dawn. Compassion, we believe, has no species.

Every donation is used strictly for meals, water, groceries, medical aid or animal welfare — never for trustee salaries or personal benefit. We share pictures, locations and receipts with donors on WhatsApp, and welcome you to join us on a serving drive to see the impact firsthand.
Absolutely. You can sponsor a single meal (₹100), a family for a week (₹1,000), or an entire street-serving drive (₹5,000+). Message us on WhatsApp with your preference and we'll dedicate the drive in your or your loved one's name.
Yes — cooked food, groceries (rice, dal, oil, biscuits), clean clothes, blankets, and hygiene kits are all deeply welcome. Contact us and we'll arrange pickup within Chennai.
