A trust built on rice, water, and reverence for every human life.

MG Foundation is a registered Public Charitable Trust established under Indian law, with its home in Thirumudivakkam, Chennai. We function purely on a non-profit basis, channeling every donation directly into meals, water, and welfare for those the world too often forgets.

Our Story

From a single meal to a daily promise.

It began the way most beautiful things begin — quietly. Manikandan R saw an elderly man asleep on a Chennai pavement, hungry, alone, invisible. He bought him a plate of rice. The next day, he brought two more plates. Then ten. Then a team. Then a movement.

Today, alongside Trustee Balaji R and a devoted circle of volunteers, MG Foundation serves hundreds of hot meals across the city every week — never asking a name, never turning a face away.

Our doors, our kitchen, and our hearts remain open to anyone in need — and to anyone who wants to help.
